Alternative Troubleshooter Team Insertion Conduit (ATTIC)

The outsourcing and downsizing of redundant nuclear plants provided the opportunity for this joint venture by Power Services and R&D service firms in 11 sectors. ATTIC utilizes decommissioned transbots for the rapid insertion and relocation of troubleshooter teams via largely disused maintenance tunnels.

Field-testing (Codename: Toys in the ATTIC) indicated that the project was 98.23 % compliant with R&D safety guidelines, and troubleshooter transport safety norms were exceeded by 156.68 %. Troubleshooter average response time was improved by 48.45 seconds in participating sectors. Stripped-down safety and transfer facilities provided significant savings in man-hours and service costs.

Unfortunately, the use of ATTIC to bypass Toothpasty Supplement #5 distribution bottlenecks during the Toothpaste Disaster was plagued by sabotage and oversights. The compatibility issues between traffic control Legacy software and the latest PDC 1300 operating system were partly responsible for the tragic Four Reactor Foam Flood. The suspicious appearance of no less than five IntSec squads at the crash site wearing highly non-regulation uniforms is currently under independent investigation.

Commentary:

I warned you about bypassing PLC transportation security protocols. We expect you to fill out those forms in triplicate for a reason, you know.

-- Jan-U

Just a clarification here. Those weren't "distribution bottlenecks", but necessary security checks. WMD had been particularly active in the area as I'm certain will come to light once we get the final report on the Tuesday Afternoon Conspiracy

And I am sure we all look forward to a report demonstrating the presence of WMD in the sector, Watt-U.

I see you still have your flair for stating the incredibly obvious, Dursch. How you managed to get on this panel is a mystery to me. We need insightful minds here, not regurgitated indoctrination lessons. But yes, I'm also looking forward to the report. If my suspicions are correct, it may well be the key to unravelling this whole mess.

-- Watt

I just wish to note that R&D was in no way responsible for the problems involved, and it would have worked if PLC had updated the sector maps. Besides, I warned them.
